CHAMBER MUSIC Duo for Clarinet and Violin II The piece was originally written for flute & clarinet. I got the chance of a performance by Two’s Company, aka Hector Scott and Shinobu Miki, who play violin and clarinet respectively, so I did a bit of rearranging on the flute part. Hector and Shinobu gave me a performance in my studio, which is the recording you hear. This movement (the second of three) is entitled “To minimalism and beyond” and is a gentle side-swipe at all things minimal. |
